The Multi-currency feature is very flexible and improves the user-experience of all users on your Koalect platform.
Project owners
When creating a new project page, project owners can select a ‘base currency’ in which they set their own fundraising goal. This currency is always visible on the project page, however other users can switch to their preferred currency for a personalised user-experience.
Donations will also be shown in the currency of the user, with the original currency displayed next to it.
Note: This type of personalisation is for display only. all payouts will still be made in the organisation’s base currency. For more information about the payouts, please read the following article.
Donors
When donors navigate through your platform and when they are making a donation, they can select their preferred currency from the list of enabled currencies on your platform. This makes it easy and convenient for them to contribute in a currency they are comfortable with.
MyKoalect users
As a MyKoalect user you are able to personalise the donation amounts, product prices and much more in each currency specifically.
